We are looking for a fully licensed therapist to join our established practice as an Independent Contractor. This position is a hybrid position, and we need someone willing to see clients in our Bethesda, MD office at least one day a week (preferably Fridays). 



Brooke Bralove Psychotherapy is a fee-for-service psychotherapy practice specializing in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), trauma therapy, therapy with women, sex therapy, and individual and couples therapy.



The ideal candidate will have experience treating anxiety, depression, and family-of-origin issues and have training in trauma therapy and ideally, sex therapy.  You will be working with individuals, couples (If experienced), and potentially groups in the future.  You will agree to build up a caseload of a minimum of 8-10 clients per week.



We are specifically looking for candidates who are currently Accelerated Resolution Therapy Practitioners OR who are willing to get trained in ART within 3 months of being hired (Requires a 3-day in-person training).



This position is perfect for psychotherapists who enjoy working with individuals and/or couples, are self-motivated, independent, responsible, compassionate, and trauma-informed.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Master's Degree or above
  • Must be fully licensed
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience  
  • Carry professional liability insurance
  • Have secure, stable, broadband internet connection, high speed wifi and a private space for Telehealth
  • Desktop or laptop computer with an integrated or external microphone and camera
  • Willing to see clients in person 1-2 days per week in Bethesda (or location nearby if applicant has their own office)
  • Willing to work at least 1 evening per week or Saturdays
  • Desire to build a caseload of at least 8-10 clients per week
  • Does not have a non-compete agreement with another practice
  • The ability to build your practice over time through personal marketing/social media
  • Willing to attend a 3-day in-person Basic Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) training

 

Highly Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed in DC and/or VA in addition to MD
  • Certified Accelerated Resolution Therapy Practitioner
  • Experience and training in trauma therapy
  • AASECT Certified Sex Therapist or experience providing sex therapy
  • Training in couples therapy
